Here’s something I don’t understand.

If English is not your first language, why would you speak it to another person who also clearly doesn’t speak English as their first language either?

I get it. Perhaps it is a common language between two people who don’t speak the same native language, but it sure doesn’t sound like it.

It sounds like two people who both sound like “Latka” (Andy Kaufman from Taxi) chatting away, clearly hitting on one another.

I mean, it isn’t like they are practicing their English because they can’t pick up any good language tips from the other.

It does, however, provide one big upside.

Eavesdropping on their conversion is much easier when it’s in English, even bad English.
