It is technically classified as a “Romanticist castle.”

So what does that mean?

It means it is not really a castle even IF it looks like a real castle, has most castle requirements (drawbridge over a moat, has big walls, towers & turrets, on a mountaintop, you get the idea), and was lived in by an actual king and queen.

Apparently, because it actually has no defensive elements (the moat is more for show, the walls are too short, no good place to shoot arrows from), it just looks like a castle.

Same thing like Neuschwanstein (the the fairytale castle that Walt Disney World used for a model). Looks like a castle, not a castle.

There are a lot of things that aren’t what they look like.

For example, some animals look like other animals or other things in order to confuse predators.

Here is an example of my dog pretending to be a pillow.

He is just lulling her asleep before he pounces.
