Travels with a Humble Narcissist

I have yet to see a game of baseball being played in Europe.

I mean on TV, on the street, in parks, in empty fields, anywhere.

I have never seen kids even play catch. I don’t think they would know what to do with a baseball mitt.

Nonetheless, it appears that everyone in Europe roots for the Bronx Bombers.

How did I come to this conclusion you ask?

Well, by careful observation, my dear Watson.

By the sheer number of NY baseball caps for sale in every shop and perched on heads of clearly Europeans show who they are rooting for.

It is too wonder why people who don’t watch baseball would wear the logo of a baseball team.

I mean, it isn’t like we would wear a logo of a team we don’t support in the United States just to look cool.
